Mckenna Reinsch is a Master's student at the Harte Research Institute in the Coastal Conservation and Restoration Laboratory. She recently earned her B.S. in Environmental Science with a Marine and Coastal Concentration from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi. As an undergraduate, Mckenna worked with the Center for Water Supply Studies at the Natural Resources Center where she focused primarily on biogeochemical processes and nitrogen species fluctuations in well, surface, and porewater. In addition to her academics, Mckenna is involved with the Corpus Christi Chapter of Coastal Conservation Association, Friends of Padre, and the Babes on Baffin fishing tournament.

Mckenna grew up in Denton, Texas, and danced pre-professionally with Ballet Academy of Texas. Outside of her academic interests, Mckenna enjoys painting, running, fishing, and kayaking.
