Maddi Piasecki
Maddi Piasecki is a Senior Laboratory Technician at the Harte Research Institute for Gulf of Mexico Studies in the Coastal Conservation and Restoration Laboratory. She recently earned her B.A. in Biology with a minor in Environmental Studies from the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts. As an undergraduate at Holy Cross, Maddi was a part of the Marine Organismal Biology Laboratory which studies Astrangia poculata, a coral species that thrives in a broad range of temperatures/habitats. She interned for the National Park Service in St. Croix, USVI where she aided in the treatment of Stony Coral Tissue Loss Disease and contributed to the Buck Island Sea Turtle Research Program.
In addition to academics, Maddi was a member of the NCAA Division I Swimming and Diving Team at Holy Cross.
