Cheyenne Feagin

Cheyenne Feagin is serving as the Baffin Bay Watershed Coordinator, a part of the Bringing Baffin Back initiative to collaborate with partners, landowners, and stakeholders to support watershed conservation, coordinate restoration initiatives, and promote sustainable management practices throughout Baffin Bay watershed. She is passionate about building strong partnerships and helping translate science into practical conservation methods that benefit both natural resources and local communities. 

Before joining HRI, Cheyenne served as the Shorebird Habitat Conservationist with the Coastal Bend Bays & Estuaries Program, where she worked with landowners and conservation partners to implement habitat restoration projects, deliver outreach, and incentive-based conservation programs along the Texas coast. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Range and Wildlife Management and an MBA with concentrations in Energy, Finance, Accounting, and Logistics.

Cheyenne was drawn to HRI because of its collaborative approach to conservation and its commitment to protecting Texas’ coastal ecosystems. She enjoys working with partners to develop practical conservation solutions that make a lasting impact. Outside of work, she enjoys baking, fishing, hunting, and spending time outdoors with family and friends. She hopes to continue growing professionally while helping conserve Texas’ coastal resources for future generations.
