Julie Parish Cantwell serves as the Program Manager for the Texas OneGulf Center of Excellence, under the direction of Dr. Paul Montagna. Julie is clinically trained in rehabilitation counseling, and specializes in program and operations management. She brings over 13 years of diverse research experience related to public and community health, spanning nutritional intervention, underserved populations, substance use disorders treatment, veterans and caregivers, as well as behavioral health. Julie is excited to assist with the Texas OneGulf mission to improve understanding of the Gulf of Mexico's large marine ecosystem and its impacts on human health and well-being, for the betterment of both. She hopes to aid the continued collaboration between Texas leaders, stakeholders, and our Network of Experts.

To recharge, Julie can be found enjoying ocean walks, creating art, playing music, reading, and spending time with her family and fur babies.
