William Jonker

William A. Jonker, a Corpus Christi native, has worked with the oyster recycling program for over one year. He enjoys being a part of this environmentally beneficial program. His role at the Harte Research Institute includes collecting oyster shells from Coastal Bend restaurants, transporting them to the dump site, and maintaining the work equipment.

As a young entrepreneur, William owns a photography and videography business, Jonker Productions. His photographs have been published in The Bend magazine and he has also captured events, weddings, and political rallies through film. William is currently pursuing a private pilot license, and hopes to get his commercial license. He enjoys taking walks on the beach with his dog, Theo.
